PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for forming a black stripe with which the minute width (6μm level) of a stripe associated with the high definition of a display and higher quality can be coped by using an exposure device, photosensitive material and a process in the conventional method for forming a black stripe made of resin for a color filter on a base plate by using a proximity exposure method.;SOLUTION: After negative type photosensitive resin composition for forming the black stripe is disposed on a base plate for a color filter, it is exposed by using a mask for exposure having a prescribed aperture pattern for forming the black stripe on a transfer condition adjusted by extending an exposure gap further from a normal proximity exposure position where the aperture pattern of the mask for exposure is faithfully transferred in terms of its shape and direction, and extending the exposure gap so that the square aperture pattern is transferred in shape obtained by rotating by 45° after exposure and development by a diffraction effect.
