This application relates to the use as a marker for the absence of tumor in vivo, at least one protein is selected from the group consisting of p38-MAPK phosphorylation and protein FADD. Furthermore, the use may be supplemented by the use as a marker for the presence of tumor in vivo FasL protein. Respective amounts of p38-MAPK phosphorylation and protein FADD actually decrease along with the tumor development, it is sometimes zero, whereas, FasL expression is increased. FADD protein is secreted into the extracellular environment of the tumor cells. That the cell volume of FADD protein is small, extracellular volume is large, the predictors of resistance to chemotherapy.
