PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carrier for electrostatic latent image development which has stable electrification ability for a long time, excellent wear resistance of the coating layer thereof and adhesion property of the coating layer with fine magnetic powder and high production yield of the coated carrier, and which is free from electrification changes of a toner composition due to spent, to provide a carrier for electrostatic latent image development which suppresses environmental changes in the electrification property or decrease in the charge amount when the carrier is left to stand, which is free from problems such as changes in the image density, contamination on the image base and contamination in a machine by the toner even in various use environments, and which can provide high-quality images, and to provide an electrostatic latent image developer and a process cartridge using the above carrier for electrostatic latent image development. PSOLUTION: The carrier includes a magnetic core material and a coating layer on the core surface. The coating layer contains a condensed product obtained from a mixture of: (i) N-alkoxyalkylated polyamide; (ii) one or more kinds of resins containing a silicone having at least a silanol group and/or a hydrolyzable group and reactive with the above N-alkoxyalkylated polyamide resin; and (iii) an epoxy silane coupling agent.
