PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ticket vending machine capable of vending a reserved-seat ticket wherein convenience of a passenger is considered.;SOLUTION: This ticket vending machine has: an acceptance means 24 accepting input of reserved seat ticket purchase information (information about a getting-off station or the like) necessary for purchase of the reserved-seat ticket; a communication means 223 communicating with a train information management device managing various kinds of train information including vacant seat information and operation information about a train; and a vending means 23 vending the reserved-seat ticket designating a seat retrieved on the basis of the reserved seat ticket purchase information, various train information and information about an installation place of the ticket vending machine, suitable for riding from the installation place of the ticket vending machine.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
