PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remote control unit for a television receiver, which is mounted with a receiving tuner of television broadcasting and selects simultaneously a channel same to a receiving channel selected by a built-in tuner in order to alleviate sound spreading to the surroundings from the television receiver.;SOLUTION: The remote control unit for operating the television receiver is mounted with sound transducers, such as a television receiving tuner and a speaker. The receiving tuner mounted on the remote control unit receives a channel same to a broadcast channel received by the viewed television receiver, and emits a demodulated audio signal from the sound transducers mounted on the remote control unit.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
