PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To transmit/receive a packet between clients which cannot be passively connected.;SOLUTION: A first computer stores a second ID, a second IP address and a second port number of a second computer, the possibility of direct connection to the second computer, a third ID, a third IP address and a third port number of a third computer and the possibility of direct connection to the third computer (1), determines the possibility of direct connection to a computer of a data transmission destination (step S201) (2), generates a packet including a transfer header indicating a transfer packet and the second ID, the third IP address as a destination IP address and the third port number as a destination port number when the data transmission destination is the second computer that cannot be directly connected (steps S203, S205) (3), and generates a packet that does not include the transfer header and the like, when the destination of data to be transmitted is the third computer that can be directly connected (step S207) (4).;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
