PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a mineral oil-degrading microorganism having an excellent mineral oil-degrading activity, to provide a method for purifying a soil polluted with a mineral oil with the mineral oil-degrading microorganism, and to provide an apparatus for purifying a soil polluted with a mineral oil with the mineral oil-degrading microorganism.;SOLUTION: The mineral oil-degrading microorganism is a strain which belongs to the genus Pseudomonas and can degrade the mineral oil.
