PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem in which it is difficult to horizontally install eggs until horizontal accuracy becomes a level for highly keeping accuracy of discrimination of males and females of sperm eggs of chicken.;SOLUTION: The subject apparatus for discriminating males and females of sperm eggs carries out discrimination of males and females of the sperm eggs by utilizing outline image data of the sperm egg obtained by photographing the sperm egg of chicken horizontally installed from the upper direction. The subject apparatus for horizontally installing the egg is equipped with an egg-placing table for laying and installing the sperm egg in which a plurality of supporting parts for supporting the sperm egg are provided and a rotating means for applying load and torque to the sperm egg while imposing the sperm egg with the egg-placing table.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
