METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR DISTRIBUTING WORK CONTENT TO PASSIVE PARTICIPANT OF VIDEO CONFERENCE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a system which distribute work contents to passive participants of a video conference.;SOLUTION: The conference system supports active and passive participants. The conference system comprises client components which defines active and passive participants, and server components which have connections to the active and passive participants defined in the client components. The server component comprises a connection manager which controls connection between the active and the passive participants and the server component, a media mixer which receives conference media, then, distributes the conference media to the active and passive participants, and a virtual producer which selects distributing conference media to the passive participants. Conference media to be distributed to the passive participants are dynamically decided based on action or selection of a certain group of the active participants.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
