PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily ensure accuracy of positional relation and to provide a curved beam having a joint section capable of being formed with sufficient strength by welding. ;SOLUTION: A steel curved beam is equipped with a joint section 14 joined by butting first and second steel beams respectively having up and down flanges 20 and 21 and web sections 26 lengthwise at a specific curved angle. This curved beam 10 provides a square weld plate 31 having sufficient size to cover the joint end face of first and second steel beams 18 and 19 between the first and second steel beams 18 and 19, the webs 26 of the first and second steel beams 18 and 19 are respectively fillet welded to the weld plate 31 on both sides, and the first and second steel beams 18 and 19 and weld plate 31 are mutually welded by a welding material filling a recessed section formed of the end faces opposed to the upper or the lower flanges 20 and 21 of the first and second steel beams 18 and 19 and the end face of the weld plate 31 to form.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
