The beam has a steel beam (3) arranged in Z-axis of the composite beam, and a steel concrete beam (2) covering the steel beam. A head dowel pin (1) connects the steel concrete beam and steel beam to one another where bar surfaces are arranged on the connection and centered on the axis. The pin is formed by working loads at operational demands of the composite beam with primary tensile strengths of the bar. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a composite beam.
