BURNER FOR CASTING SMALL-SIZED GOLD INGOT AND CASTING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a burner for casting by which a small-sized gold ingot having a smooth surface can be manufactured with excellent reproducibility by suppressing the occurrence of a stripe pattern on the surface of the ingot to the minimum without generating large shrinkage holes on the surface of the ingot, and a casting method using it.;SOLUTION: Gas burners of two types are arranged on a surface plate having a mold thereon for casting molten gold. They are fixed to a strut which can arbitrarily change the angle and the height of the burner. A flow rate adjusting valve and a solenoid valve are also installed to the piping of each burner. Further, the solenoid valve is controlled by a timer and has a structure capable of arbitrarily adjusting the burning time of each burner.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
