RETURN PULLEY SUPPORT DEVICE OF ELEVATOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a return pulley support device of an elevator, preventing the occurrence of tensile load to a guide rail and a rail support bracket by providing a horizontal reinforcement member on which inclination moment due to overhung load is put.;SOLUTION: This elevator includes: a guide rail of a car and a guide rail of a counterbalance erected and supported in a hoistway to guide the car and the counterbalance to be elevated; an upper rail support bracket and a lower rail support bracket for supporting and fixing the respective guide rails on the wall of the hoistway at the upper end part of the hoistway; a return pulley support beam fitted to the respective guide rails between the upper and lower rail support brackets, to which the return pulley of the car, the return pulley of the counterbalance and rope ends suspending the car and the counterbalance are fitted; and the horizontal reinforcement member provided extending at least either between the upper end parts of the guide rails or between the guide rail and the hoistwary wall to couple and connect both members to each other above the return pulley support beam.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
