PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new method and a new apparatus for measuring the magnetic anisotropy of a sample with high sensitivity, by restraining and floating a specified sample in a minute gravity space.;SOLUTION: The solid sample S is placed on a sample stand 11 arranged in a vacuum container 12 so that the magnetic stable surface becomes nearly parallel to a support side 11A of the sample stand 11. Then, the inside of the vacuum container 12 is evacuated to specified pressure. Then, fine gravity is applied to the solid sample S, the sample stand 11 is removed speedily from the solid sample S immediately after for canceling the support. Then, a vertical magnetic field B is applied to the solid sample S, the solid sample S is rotated and vibrated with the vertical magnetic field B as a reference, and the magnetic anisotropy in the solid sample S is derived from the period.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
