PREVENTIVE SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR WEED GROWTH IN BOUNDARY BETWEEN FOOTWAY AND CARRIAGEWAY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and a method to effectively prevent the growth of weed without removing a existing footway and carriageway blocks.;SOLUTION: Along curbstones between the footway and a carriageway, footway-side pavements are peeled off in a certain width, the bare ground is excavated in a certain depth and rolled out into a foundation, and a weed growth preventive material nearly equal in length to the curbstone is arranged over the foundation in a way that its height is lower than the surface of the footway, and is adhered to the footway-side wall of the curbstone. Then the foundation is filled up to cover the weed growth preventive material and paved again.
