PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To dispense with the supply of a large quantity of priming liquid for the venting of air to a patient. SOLUTION: A long tube device 1 for an extracorporeal blood circulation circuit is formed, as a dual interior/exterior structure, of a thin-wall expandable/ deformable inner tube 21 and a thick-wall high-strength sleeve 22. The priming liquid is supplied into the inner tube 21 and the air inside the inner tube 21 is replaced with the priming liquid. In this case, the inner tube 21 has its diameter expanded most. The priming liquid is slowly removed from the interior of the inner tube 21 in such a state that the liquid is sealed off the air. Consequently, the inner tube 21 has now its diameter contracted adequately. The extracorporeal blood circulation circuit is connected to a patient in such a state that the diameter of the inner tube 21 is contracted.
