PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner for electrostatic latent image development and a magnetic monocomponent toner for electrostatic latent image development which can be fixed at low temperature even when a linear velocity of a fixing roller exceeds 100 mm/s, are improved also in smearing property and do no cause offset phenomenon. PSOLUTION: An electrostatic latent image is developed using the toner for electrostatic latent image development containing a binder resin, a wax, a charge control agent and a colorant, wherein a polystyrene resin is contained as the binder resin, a first wax component having a penetration at 25°C of ≤1 dmm and a second wax component having a penetration of 5-20 dmm are contained as the wax, and a melting point of the wax measured by differential scanning calorimetry is 70-140°C.
