PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deformation analysis device for a soft object wherein a deformation process of the whole soft object to be analyzed can be analyzed with high precision by a finite element method and can be confirmed on a screen when a specific part of the soft object is moved. PSOLUTION: This device is provided with an image display means 1 performing a graphic presentation in which a three-dimensional shape of the soft object is imitated in a virtual three-dimensional space on the screen 1a, a coordinate value recognizing means 11 recognizing a moved position to which the specific part of the soft object restrained at a prescribed part is directed with a mouse 3 and moved on the screen 1a as a three-dimensional coordinate value and a deformation analysis means 12 performing sequential analysis of deformation of an analytic model of the soft object in an initial state with movement of the specific part with the finite element method according to the three-dimensional coordinate value data of the recognized moved point with the physical-property data, the shape data and the restricted condition of the soft object as input conditions. The image display means 1 successively performs graphic presentation imitating the three-dimensional shape of the deformed soft object according to the analyzed deformation analytic model.
