PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance information transfer technology with respect to technology of providing a transfer clock signal for controlling information exchange in a multi-channel architecture.;SOLUTION: The multi-channel architecture comprises a central facility (1) that is under clock control of a central facility's clock signal, a central transfer clock generator (27) adapted for deriving a central transfer clock signal (SCLKCB) from the central facility's clock signal, and a set of (n) channels (CH1, ..., CHn). Each of the channels comprises a channel transfer clock generator (28) adapted for deriving channel transfer clock signals (SCLKCH1, ..., SCLKCHn) from a clock signal of the respective channel, wherein the central facility's clock signal and the clock signals of the channels comprise at least two different clock signals.
