PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gentle slope revetment block having a hydrophilic property and the wave dissipating action, and causing no scattering by a wave.;SOLUTION: This gentle slope revetment block is rectangular in a plane shape, and has recessed parts 2a and 2b in respective central parts of front-rear end surfaces, and is constituted so that a step part 3 for turning a step end surface to the front side is arranged in a longitudinal directional intermediate part of an upper surface, and vertically penetrating extraction holes 4a and 4b are also arranged. A gentle slope revetment uses this gentle slope revetment block, and maintains a base of this gentle slope revetment block, and is constructed by successively laying respective step parts upward in a zigzag shape by juxtaposing the parts in a row shape in the horizontal direction toward the sea side in order from a position along a foundation on a slope face of the seashore for arranging the foundation 8 in a tip part.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
