PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an admixture for concrete as a measure for preventing cracks, or the like, in a newly constructed structure or as an admixture type cement gel crystal proliferation material capable of exhibiting prevention effects on water leakage, or the like, occurring after the structure has been constructed; and to provide a method for utilizing the same.;SOLUTION: The admixture for concrete contains, as main components, a calcium salt of a polyvalent carboxylic acid, a phosphoric acid-based inorganic calcium complex compound or the like, having cement crystal proliferation action, and has a powdery and granular form. The admixture is kneaded together with materials for concrete to obtain a reinforced concrete material, and the reinforced concrete material is used to construct a concrete structure.
