QoS POLICY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM IN IP-VPN WIDE AREA NETWORK

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a QoS policy management system in an IP-VPN wide area network in which response time to a service request such as a resource allocation request for a VPN spreading over a wide area IP network is shortened.;SOLUTION: This QoS policy management system is provided with: an IP-VPN policy server 4 which manages the IP-VPN policy of each VPN requested by a VPN manager within the range of resource information of node devices 6a to 6d constituting the IP-VPN wide area network and sets, as resource information of a VPN, the resource information of the node devices 6a to 6d constituting a VPN allocated by an IP-VPN policy in VPN policy servers 5 for managing VPNs to which an IP-VPN policy is applied; and the VPN policy servers 5 that judge whether a policy in a VPN requested by a user can be secured within the range of the resource information for a VPN and sets the policy in a VPN in the node devices 6a to 6d constituting the VPN when the policy in a VPN can be secured.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
