TOLL SETTING SYSTEM APPLIED TO TOLL ROAD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To promote the use of a toll road such as express highways of, especially, a large-sized vehicle.;SOLUTION: An axle load meter data processor 20 obtains the number of axles, the axle weight of each axle, and the total vehicle weight by arithmetic processing based on an axle load value from an axle load detecting part 30, and then outputs the number of axles, the axle weight of each axle and the total vehicle weight as the axle load processing result. Then, an ETC controller 11 accepts vehicle information from an onboard unit (not shown) through a first antenna 12, and transfers information showing at least the maximum load and vehicle weight acquired from the vehicle information and the detected model classification to a charging processor 14. Then, the charging information showing the applied toll corresponding to the model classification and the load calculated by a charging processor 14 or the charging information and entrance information are transmitted through a second antenna 13 to an onboard unit (not shown) as charging relevant information.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
