PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the earthquake resistance of an aseismatic frame without forming a damper and an RC(reinforced concrete) rigid frame into a large cross section and without arranging an expensive intermediate beam.;SOLUTION: The lower structure 1 of an elevated bridge comprises the RC rigid frame 4 constituted of a pair of bridge pier-like columns 2 erected at opposite positions and a beam 3 suspended on the apexes of the columns and a damper brace mechanism 5. The damper brace mechanism 5 comprises a histeresis damping type shearing damper 6 serving as a vertical displacement damper and a pair of horizontal V-shaped braces 9 connected at their apexes on both sides of the vertical displacement damper to pinch it.
