PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a layer structure capable of suppressing generation or displacement of a magnetic domain wall by strongly fixing a magnetization vector of a soft magnetic film, realizing crystal alignment (110) of an anti-ferromagnetic Mn-Ir alloy film for reduction of noise of a recording medium and stable operation of a magnetic head and achieving a further high exchange coupling magnetic field.;SOLUTION: The exchange coupling film is provided with an MgO film, a Ni-Fe alloy film, the anti-ferromagnetic Mn-Ir alloy film and the soft magnetic film on a substrate.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
