PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remove a discolored part of a conductor without burdening an operator by surely and automatically identifying the discolored part of the conductor.;SOLUTION: The automatic conductor discolored part sorting device comprises a conductor discoloration detection means 21 for detecting the discoloration of the conductor 3 at an annealer 4 and a re-heater 5; an insulator scratching means 22 located at down stream side of an insulator covering push-out device 7, scratching the insulator at discolored part of the conductor depending on a discoloration signal from the conductor discoloration detection means 21; an insulator abnormality detection means 26 for detecting the scratch; and a defective part portioning means 27 for portioning out the bobbin or bundle on which the wire having the scratch is wound.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
