PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of the coating liquid having superior dispersibility, capable of maintaining the dispersion over a long time, and superior in coatability, but generating no coated film defects for the uppermost layer of an electrophotographic photoreceptor and this coating liquid, to provide an electrophotographic photoreceptor produced by using the coating liquid for the uppermost layer to form high quality images without defects, further to provide an image forming device using the above electrophotographic hotoreceptor, and to provide a processing cartridge using the electrophotographic photoreceptor.;SOLUTION: This is a method of manufacturing the coating liquid, comprising at least a solvent and particulates for forming the uppermost layer of an electrophotographic photoreceptor and the dispersed liquid is irradiated with ultrasonic waves, after making the volume average diameter of the dispersed particles 10μm or less in the solvent by high-speed liquid collision and dispersion.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
