PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical institution supporting system for highly precisely retrieving a medical institution complying with a medical service desired by a user, and for providing the optimal medical service to the user. PSOLUTION: A medical supporting agent computer (2) automatically retrieves and extracts medical person registering computers (4, 5) on a network on the basis of medical service conditions registered from a user computer (1), and notifies the user computer (1) of the information of the medical person registering computers complying with the medical service conditions of the user. When the medical person registering computer complying with the medical service conditions registered from the user computer (1) can not be retrieved or extracted, the medical supporting agent computer (2) periodically repeats the retrieval processing, and retrieves and extracts the medical person computer complying with the medical service conditions of the user.
