PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a biodegradable polylactic acid-based shrinkable sheet material for packaging, having a sufficient shrinkage, not showing any unevenness in its thickness on stretching, capable of beautifully printing on it, prettily winding on a material to be packaged and showing a good shrunk finish, and giving a label not adhering each other on heat-sterilizing in the case of using it as the label for a bottle of a beverage, etc. SOLUTION: This resin sheet material contains a polylactic acid-based polymer having (100:0)-(94:6)-(0:100) composition ratio of L-lactic acid to D-lactic acid and having =0 deg.C glass transition point (Tg) and =70 deg.C melting point (Tm) as a main component, consists of a biodegradable resin composition composed of 10-100 pt.wt. biodegradable aliphatic polyester based on 100 pts.wt. polylactic acid-based polyester and is obtained by stretching the biodegradable resin composition in at least one axial direction.
