PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inexpensively manufacture a fine wiring pattern and a conductive pattern.;SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the composite member comprises a step of irradiating the substrate surface with an energy line, a step of making the substrate adsorbing metal-containing ions or the like, and a step of electroless plating it. The method for manufacturing the composite member also comprises a step of forming a photosensitive layer on the surface of a porous body, a step of irradiating it with the energy line, a step of impregnating a plating liquid, and a step of electrifying it to electrolytically deposit the metal. The porous substrate for forming the compound member consists of the porous body and the photosensitive layer. The photosensitive composition for forming the compound member has a photosensitive group which generates or disappears an anion exchangeable group by an irradiation of light, and a polymer having a cross-linking group.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
