PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an actuator having a set of slidable pistons including a slidably moving area.;SOLUTION: In this actuator, the slidably moving area comprises at least one wear member supported by an elastic member and a second wear member positioned apart a distance laterally from the first wear member. A lubrication sump is disposed between the first and second wear members, the wear members are maintained in the smooth sliding engagement state thereof with the cylindrical wall of a housing, and the necessity of the replacement and repair of the actuator is limited. To provide the access of fluid from a chamber in the actuator, groove passages are extended along the rear sides of the extension parts of the pistons to enable the rapid discharge of the fluid from the chamber.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
