The drive (1) has a reduction gear with a rack and pinion gear (5), and a sensor (29) fixed to a gear housing (6) for detecting movement condition of an actuating element. A sensor trigger (30) is fastened to a gear rack (26) of the rack and pinion gear, and is arranged between the gear rack and the housing. The gear rack is supported at a support (27) such that the gear rack is linearly guided between the support and a gear pinion (25) of the rack and pinion gear. The support lies opposite to the gear pinion, and the sensor is arranged in a case within the support.
