PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an efficient production method for hot dip galvanized steel sheet that is designed to have a single spangle miniaturizing device equipped with both one-liquid type sprayer and two-liquid type mist sprayer so that both bright minimum spangles maintaining metal luster and zero minimum spangles of flat luster or mat finish may be effectively developed over the sheet surface.;SOLUTION: This invention relates to the spangle miniaturizing device used for the production of hot dip galvanized steel sheet that is equipped with a spangle miniaturizing sprayer facing the steel sheet pulled upward from the hot dip galvanizing bath and spraying cooling medium transversely on the plated layers of the steel sheet surface to miniaturize the spangle on the surfaces. The rig contains as the sprayer a two-liquid type mist sprayer 12 having a plurality of nozzles to inject cooling medium in a vaporized form which are arranged to be positioned transversely to the steel sheet and another one-liquid type sprayer 5 having a plurality of nozzles to directly inject pressurized cooling medium which are also arranged to be positioned transversely to the steel sheet.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
