PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a road design system that enables a plurality of users to design roads automatically by using a computer network such as the Internet.;SOLUTION: The invented road design system is provided with terminals of 20a, 20b, 20c that have a client function and input design condition data and user's personal data and a road design server 10 that has a server function and provides road design services on the basis of the design condition information and the use's personal information, a computer network 30 such as the Internet that connects each terminal 20a-20c to the server 10, facsimile equipment 41a and 41b installed at client sites, which receive a processed result from the server 10 and a fax output, and a communication network 40 that connects the facsimile equipment 41a and 41b to the server 10.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
