PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for permitting the transduction of a dsRNA (double-stranded RNA) into basidomycetes showing a vegetative hypha affinity different from that of a dsRNA donor strain by using a vector monokaryon, which is thought to be impossible in the past, and by this process, to permit comparison of the week pathogenizability of the dsRNA for pathogenic basidomycetes and week pathogenization of pathogenic basidomycetes due to dsRNA transduction (for example, it is thought that great effects are exhibited on the control of violet root rot in apple farm soil, because comparison of the week pathogenizability of the dsRNA for Helicobasidium mompa and week pathogenization of Helicobasidium mompa due to dsRNA transduction are possible).;SOLUTION: The above method is a method for transducing the dsRNA into basidomycetes and features using a monokaryon belonging to the same species as a basidomycete for transducing the dsRNA as a vector.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
