PURPOSE: To provide a sampling device in which the sensitivity can be increased. ;CONSTITUTION: In a sample introduction method in capillary electrophoresis and device using the method, a sample is injected as a plug into the sampling device 3 comprising an electrolyte liquid channel 12 and sample supply 13 and discharge 14 channels. The supply 13 and discharge 14 channels discharge into an electrolyte liquid channel 12 at the respective supply port 15 and discharge port 16. The distance between the ports 15 and 16 geometrically regultes the sample volume 17. The injection of a sample plug into the electrolyte liquid channel 12 is dynamo-electric executed extending over the time period at least long enough that a component having lowest electrophoretic mobility of the sample is contained in the sample volume by providing an electric field extending over the supply 13 and discharge 14 channels.
