PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the subject system simplified in scheme and designed to seek labor saving in view of the system as a whole. ;SOLUTION: This system, which is equipped with a large stone/root block remover 2, a rotary device 4 and a wind power sorter 8 in this order, has such a scheme that large stones and root blocks are removed from mechanically reaped cut sugar cane stock by the use of the remover 2, soil and sand are removed and sheathes peeled by the use of the device 4, and a sorting into three kinds, i.e., healthy stems, branch tops or the like, and dead leaves or the like, is conduced using the wind power sorter 8.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
