PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive method for manufacturing a bevel gear without manufacturing a mechanically cut a gear blank using the gear blank made by metal powder sintering, with high density and high strength.;SOLUTION: This method for manufacturing the bevel gear comprises charging metal powder into a die so with, an upper compressing part 20, and a lower compressing part 30, compressing the powder to form the gear blank, and sintering, cutting and heat treating the gear blank to carburize. The die 10 has a cavity 40 conposed of a colum 42, a pressing part 44, an upper sprue 46 and a lower sprue 48. An upper plug 206 is integrally formed with a projecting block 204 integrated with the upper compressing part 20, while the lower plug 302 is formed in the lower compressing part 30.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
