PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide removal equipment and removal method for dioxins in refuse incineration equipment with a simplified structure and with higher heat efficiency, in which the dioxins are prevented from being produced and resynthesized and hence white smoke pollution from smokestack is prevented.;SOLUTION: There are provided a refuse incinerator 1 in which an inclined ceiling 11 is provided at an outlet of a combustion chamber 12 and secondary air injection means 19 is provided on a rear wall of the combustion chamber, a recombustion chamber 2 including a combustion air heating high temperature air preheater 23 on an upper portion of a body 22, a high temperature white smoke preventing air heater 3, a gas cooling apparatus 4 including a gas cooling chamber 41 having a plurality of stages of groups of water injection nozzles 42 and cooling air blowing means 44, and a waste gas processing apparatus 5 including a bag filter 51 and an induction air fan 52. Waste gas exhausted from the refuse incinerator 1 is combusted in the recombustion chamber 2, and then the waste gas is guided to the gas cooling apparatus 4 through the high temperature air preheater 23 and the high temperature white smoke prevention air heater 3 while keeping the resynthesis temperature of dioxins or higher and is lowered at once to optimum temperature of the bag filter 51 in the gas cooling apparatus 4.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
