PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for supporting blood group determination and an operating method thereof capable of reliably and correctly determining blood groups without the occurrence of human error even in the case of test by one test performer.;SOLUTION: Bar code labels with the same base parts and different branch number parts are pasted to every test container used for test on one patient. A bar code label is pasted to an original specimen, and the base parts of the bar codes pasted to the test containers are the same as the bar code pasted to the original specimen or a bar code univocally created from the bar code pasted to the original specimen. The bar code of a container housing a liquid to be dispensed and the bar code of an empty test container to which the liquid is to be dispensed are read prior to each operation of dispensation to verify whether the specimen is mistaken or not and whether the test container is mistaken or not by a computer. By reading the bar code of the test container of which the degree of agglutination is to be observed immediately before the input of the degree of agglutination, automatically invoking a form for the entry of the degree of agglutination of the test container to a screen by the computer, and inputting it, copy error of the degree of agglutination is prevented.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
