PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent liquefaction by constructing improved piles in a soft ground by a deep mixing soil stabilization method in which a cement material which swells when it is hardened is used. ;SOLUTION: A deep mixing soil stabilization machine 1 is installed in a soil A to perform ordinary deep mixing soil stabilization, and a region around a soil to be improved is surrounded by ordinary improved poles 2 like a wall. Next, the treatment machine 1 is moved into this region, and many improved piles 3 are arranged n triangular or square shape when viewed in plan and constructed by a deep mixing soil stabilization method in which a cement material which swells is used. Then, the piles 3 swell to tighten and fix the soil around the poles 3, and density of a soil which is not yet improved is increased. Furthermore, the piles 3 which swell and the ground which is not yet improved adhere closely to form a composite soil. Consequently, it is possible to prevent a slide, a flow toward a side, and liquefaction of the soil securely.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
