PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rail type transferring device for plating process having a hoisting device and capable of effectively preventing the generation of horizontal vibration at a low cost. ;SOLUTION: A rail 1 having a flange 11 formed with an inverted T-shaped cross section along the longitudinal direction in both sides of a lower part thereof is horizontally provided along an upper part of a line of plating vessels (c) arranged in parallel with each other along one direction. A car frame 2 having side plates 20, 20 arranged opposite to each other and connected so as to pinch the rail 1 from both sides is fitted to the rail 1 freely to travel. Each pair of wheels 3, 3 are fitted to the car frame 2 at two positions in the traveling direction so as to be rolled in contact with the top surface of each flange 11, 11.
