Method of manufacturing sound-absorbing and sound-insulating composite plastic panel containing magnetic fluid inclusion capsule

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To impart excellent soundproof characteristics and electromagnetic wave absorbing effect and to enhance mechanical strength or durability by laminating a fiber reinforced plastic molding material and a plastic sheet containing magnetic fluid included capsules to place them on a press and curing and molding them by using a press. SOLUTION: A fiber reinforced plastic molding material 4 is placed on a press 5 and, subsequently, a plastic sheetlike article 3 containing magnetic fluid included capsules 2 is laminated thereon and both of them are cured and integrally molded by the press 5 to obtain a sound absorbing and insulating composite plastic panel 1. The plastic sheet like article 3 is formed by shaping plastic composed of various thermosetting or thermoplastic resins into a sheet, a film or a panel. The content of magnetic fluid included capsules in the plastic sheetlike article 3 is usually set to 30 90wt.%. As the fiber reinforced plastic molding material 4, a thermosetting resin is used.
