PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain black-and-white image forming silver halide photosensitive material for photographing fit for developing processing in the color photographic system of a negative-positive process and easily printed on printing paper by coloring the black-and-white image forming silver halide photosensitive material for photographing in orange or, more desirably, coloring by adding colored coupler to the photosensitive material. ;SOLUTION: In the black-and-white image forming silver halide photosensitive material colored in orange, orange-coloring is performed by adding the colored coupler thereto. It is enough to perform the orange-coloring so that an unexposed part after developing processing may be orange, and it is necessary to color the unexposed part by dyestuff or dye which does not disappear or is not washed out by the developing processing. It is desirable that the black-and- white silver halide photosensitive material contains the colored coupler as the non-washout and non-decolorization type dyestuff or dye. The desirable colored coupler is selected from yellow colored magenta coupler, magenta colored cyan coupler and yellow colored cyan coupler.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
