PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a comparator with an offset cancellation function and a simplified configuration.;SOLUTION: The comparator is provided with transistors (TRs) N1, N2 forming a differential pair, current mirror loads (P1, P2), an output stage TR P3, and a path for feeding back an output of the TR P3 as a base bias of the TR N1. The comparator applies negative feedback control to the output of the TR P3 so as to balance currents respectively flowing through the TRs N1, N2 by utilizing the base bias effect.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
