PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operating method for a layered fuel cell, a layered fuel cell and a layered fuel cell system, capable of suppressing dispersion of a cell voltage caused by a temperature difference of each cell without lowering the output per unit volume, and thereby obtaining high energy efficiency. SOLUTION: In a layered fuel cell provided with a coolant flow passage 60 every time two cells 44, 45 are superimposed, a flow rate, a pressure and/or a humidified amount of gas supplied to each cell and/or exhausted from each cell are varied for every cell. In a fuel cell system equipped with the layered fuel cell, an operating condition is detected for every cell group in a different temperature environment by using a means of detecting a fuel cell operating condition, and a rate of flow, a pressure or a humidified amount of reaction gas supplied to each cell group is individually controlled by using a humidified amount control device and a reaction gas supply control device.
