A pharmaceutical composition containing a compound (a) selected from 1-(2-naphth-2-ylethyl)-4-(3-trifluoro-methylphenyl)-1,2,3,6-tetrahydropryidine and a 4-substituted 1-phenylalkyl-1,2,3,6-tetrahydropyridine in combination with a compound (b) active in the symptomatic treatment of dementia of the Alzheimer type (DAT), especially an acetylcholinesterase inhibitor, for the complete treatment of DAT.
