The capsules (G) are held together in a grid by breakable rods (G1). As the capsules are placed in holes in the filling device (V), the rods between them break. A system for filling (gelatin) capsules with medicine comprises providing the capsules in the form of a grid consisting of adjacent capsules joined together via breakable rods. The dimensions of the capsules are the same as those of the holes in the filling device (V). The grid is removed from its packaging and placed in the filling device so that the empty capsules are located in the holes in this device. The rods between the capsules break when the capsules are forced into the holes.
