In the present invention, there is disclosed a glazing panel containing a transparent substrate (1) being particularly made of glass material coated with at least one functional conductive thin and low-emissive transparent layer (3). The optical and particularly colorimetric appearance of the glazing may be enhanced by arranging at least one intermediate layer (2) with a declining refractive index gradient between the two sides thereof between the substrate (1) and the functional layer (3). Disclosed is also a slot-type nozzle for making a layer with the refractive index gradient by employing a method of chemical vapor deposition, as well as a coating method by using such a nozzle.
