In the present invention, there is disclosed an anhydrous crystalline form of the R(-)-N-(4,4-di(3-methylthien-2-yl)but-3-enyl)nipecotic acid hydrochloride, that can be suitably used in pharmaceutical compositions intended for the treatment of epilepsy and other diseases related to GABA uptake, and process for its preparation.
